Derby Fizz

This is a favorite in Louisville, where it was first mixed.

1 jigger fine whiskey
5 dashes lemon juice
1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar
1 egg
3 dashes Curacao

Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into a small highball glass, and fill with carbonated water.
