1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups whole wheat or white flour
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
Sesame seeds
Heat oven to 375 to 400 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.
In large bowl, cream butter, cheese, flour, salt and cayenne. Turn out onto
floured surface; knead lightly to blend well. Pat out into a large square and
cut into bars. Bake on prepared cookie sheet for 20 minutes or until golden.
Serve hot or cold.
Makes about 16 bars.
