Place a drinking glass, pint jar, or anything circular for the shape/size you want the basket to be (as long as it's glass) upside down on a cookie sheet. Spray it VERY LIGHTLY with a cooking spray, such as PAM.
Remove the top piece of plastic wrap, pick up the dough using the bottom piece to handle it and place it centered over the bottom of the glass or jar. Let the dough fold (drape) naturally around the jar.
Place cookie sheet in an oven preheated to 150 degrees F, and bake with the oven door ajar for approximately 3 hours. Let cool; remove from jar and decorate.
Fill with spiced apple potpourri, a couple of dried apple slices, cinnamon stick, and a raffia bow around the basket.

Cinnamon Dough Baskets craft
Use your favorite cinnamon dough recipe as long as it includes tacky glue. Place about 1/2 cup of the dough, shaped into a ball, on a large piece of plastic wrap. Cover with another piece of the wrap and roll out into a somewhat circular shape about 1/8 inches thick and about 8 to 10 inches in circumference.Place a drinking glass, pint jar, or anything circular for the shape/size you want the basket to be (as long as it's glass) upside down on a cookie sheet.
