1 (14 ounce) can tomatoes
1/2 pound ground chuck, browned and drained
1 small onion, chopped
1 small clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Salt to taste
Soak or parboil beans until completely softened; drain. Place in crockette. Add all remaining ingredients; stir well. Cover and cook for 10 to 18 hours.
