1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup oatmeal
6 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 cup corn flakes, crushed
Attach the following recipe on a gift tag:
Buffalo Chip Cookies
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients from jar together in a large bowl and add 1/2 cup butter or margarine, 1 beaten egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Mix well. Drop by spoonsful onto a cookie sheet. Bake 12 to 14 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen cookies.

Buffalo Chip Cookies Mix in a Jar
Layer the following in a 1-quart jar:1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup oatmeal
6 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
1/2 cup corn flakes, crushed
