Household Hints - Gifts and Gift Wrapping

Decorations...
Save wishbones from chickens. Clean them well, then paint. Put on a little glitter and tie them to gift packages.

Cut out pictures from beautiful old calendars and glue them to gift packages.

Cut the pictures off old Christmas cards and use them as gift tags (make sure there is no handwriting on the back side).

Mailing Tubes...
Use old cardboard tubes from plastic wrap, aluminum foil, etc. to mail items which are best sent rolled.

Shipping Gifts...
Set a berry basket over the bow to prevent it from being crushed.

Wrapping...
Leftover wallpaper makes elegant gift wrap.

Use Sunday comics for wrapping children's presents.

Use deflated silver balloons that say "Happy Birthday" or some other message as gift wrap.
