My mother-in-law gave me this recipe just after we were married and I still make this; a good company dish.
Serves 4.
Meatballs
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely diced
1/4 cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients together and form into small balls. Brown in skillet, drain on paper towel. Place in a lasagna-size baking dish.
Sauce
1 small onion, diced
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons vinegar
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients together in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil, boil 5 minutes. Pour over meatballs, Bake uncovered in 350 degree F oven for 1 hour.
Serve with hot rice or noodles and a green salad. Recipe can be doubled

Baked Barbecued Meatballs in Sauce
