Pineapple Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 envelope dried Hidden Valley ranch dressing
  • 1/2 small can crushed pineapple
  • 2 stalks green onion
  • 1/4 cup shredded jack or Colby cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix the envelope of ranch dressing mix with the softened cream cheese until well mixed.
  2. Add 1/2 can crushed pineapple (no juice), green onion chopped and shredded cheese.
  3. Mix well and cool in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  4. Turn out onto a cheese board or platter.
  5. Mound it in the center and shape into a ball with a spoon.
  6. If you like you can cover the ball with sliced almonds, sprinkle with dill weed, parsley or paprika.
  7. Chill completely before serving.
