1 pound grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 small onion, grated
1 cup finely chopped nuts
Dash of cayenne
Black pepper
Mix cheese, nuts, mayonnaise and onion until well blended in a bowl; stir
in cayenne and black pepper to taste. Pack into a 5-cup ring mold or a fancy
mold. Chill overnight until firm.
Unmold onto serving plate. Fill center with raspberry preserves and serve
with small crackers.
