2 droppers fragrant oil of choice
2 tablespoons powdered gum Arabic
1 cup water
Combine the oils. Make a smooth paste by placing the gum in a bowl. Add the oils, a few drops at a time. Be sure the paste is free of lumps. Begin to add water, a spoonful at a time. When you have enough volume, beat with an egg beater, continuing to add water until the entire cup has been added. The solution will turn milky in color as you beat. Place in a glass bottle and store in the refrigerator. Let age 48 hours before use to allow the scent to blend with the oil.
Use 1/4 cup per tub full. After the bath, pat your body dry rather than rubbing.
NOTE: The gum Arabic in the formula blends the oil and water so they won't separate in the water.
