1 pound hot sausage, browned and drained
1/2 cup chopped onion, sauteed
1/4 cup Parmesan
1 egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 egg yolk
Combine cheese, beaten egg, Tabasco, salt and parsley flakes with sausage and
onion, cooked. Set aside.
Mix Bisquick, milk and mayonnaise. Grease 8 x 10-inch dish and cover 3/4 of
the Bisquick mixture evenly over bottom of dish. Spoon sausage mixture over
this. Carefully pour the remaining Bisquick mixture over the sausage mixture.
Brush top with beaten egg yolk. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 400 degrees F.
To fill a 13 x 9-inch dish, double recipe. May be made day before and refrigerated.
Bake when ready to eat. Excellent for breakfast or brunch.
