Bisquick Smarties Candy Cookies

3 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups candy-coated milk chocolate candies

Heat oven to 375 degrees F.

Mix baking mix, brown sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla extract. Stir in 1 cup of the candies. Drop dough by teaspoonsful about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Press remaining candies in tops of dough.

Bake until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes.

About 5 dozen cookies.
