Bleu Cheese Chopped Bread
Bleu Cheese Chopped Bread is a fun way to make a delicious savory loaf of bread.
Prep: 20 to 30 min | Bake: 25 min | Yield: 8 to 10 servings
Ingredients
- 1 loaf Rhodes Bread Dough or 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoons parsley flakes
- 1/2 cup bleu cheese crumbles
Instructions
- Place loaf or rolls on a chopping board. Chop into small pieces.
- Break egg onto the pieces and spoon garlic on top. Chop and move the dough to coat the pieces with the egg and garlic.
- Combine Parmesan and parsley. Sprinkle onto dough and chop and coat pieces again. Sprinkle bleu cheese crumbles on top and chop to distribute through dough.
- Place into a well sprayed loaf pan. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until dough reaches the top of the pan.
- Remove plastic and bake at 375 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes. Cover with foil after 15 minutes if needed to prevent over browning.
