Seafood Cornbread
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups corn meal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 to 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 large chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 8 ounces grated cheese
- Green onion
- Jalapeno pepper, minced (if desired)
- Creole seasoning
- Crawfish, shrimp or crabmeat (as much or as little as you like)
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 55 minutes in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
