1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
3/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted, divided
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add sour cream and vanilla extract; mix well.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; stir into creamed mixture just until moistened. Fold in strawberries and nuts. Pour into a greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees F for 65 to 70 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
