Caramel Frosting
Ingredients
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk, undiluted
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon white corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Brown 1/2 cup of the sugar in heavy skillet.
- Add remaining ingredients. Cook 5 minutes.
- After mixture begins to boil, remove from heat and beat until thick enough to spread.
