Clear Lemon Filling

Ingredients

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 4 tablespoons cornstarch
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup water
• 2 tablespoons grated lemon rind
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

1. Mix all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
2. Chill before using.
