Samoa Kiss Brownies

Ingredients

• 1 (18.25 ounce) box devil's food cake mix*
• 1/3 cup evaporated milk
• 3/4 cup melted butter
• 1 cup mini Hershey's Kisses
• 3/4 cup melted caramels
• 1/2 box Samoa Cookies, crushed
• 1 tablespoon toasted coconut
• Mini Hershey's Kisses, melted

Instructions

1. Mix together cake mix, evaporated milk and melted butter.
2. Pour half of the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 6 minutes.
3. Sprinkle 1 cup mini Hershey's Kisses over the baked cake.
4. Spread melted caramel over the Kisses, then the crushed Samoa Cookies.
5. Top with 1 tablespoon toasted coconut.
6. Drop the other half of the cake batter on this.
7. Bake another 10 minutes.
8. Drizzle with melted mini Hershey's Kisses and sprinkle with more coconut.

Notes

* 18.25 ounce boxes of cake mix have been replaced by 16.5 ounce and 15.25 ounce boxes. To compensate for the volume loss in a 16 ounce box, whisk 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour into the dry cake mix before proceeding with the recipe. To compensate for the volume loss in a 15.25 ounce box, add 1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
