German Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

1 (18.25 ounce) box German chocolate cake mix
1/4 cup water
1 egg
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 cups oatmeal

Mix together cake mix, butter, water, oil and egg. Add chocolate chips and oatmeal. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 13 minutes.
