Chocolate Chip Crater Cake
Ingredients
Cake
- 2 cups biscuit baking mix
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Topping Mix
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup biscuit baking mix
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Cake: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- In mixer bowl combine biscuit mix, sugar, milk, egg and vanilla extract; beat on low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed until smooth.
- Pour 1/2 of batter into a prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over batter.
- Top with remaining batter, completely covering chips. Sprinkle Topping Mix evenly over batter.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly.
- Topping Mix: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
