Caramel Apples Supreme

Ingredients

  • 6 large red apples
  • 6 small (6 inch) wooden skewers
  • 2 cups caramel sauce, warm
  • 2 cups melted milk chocolate, warm
  • 2 cups melted white chocolate, warm
  • 2 cups melted semisweet chocolate, warm
  • 2 cups pecan pieces, toasted

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples and pat them dry. Place a skewer down the center of each apple. Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Dip each apple in the caramel sauce, coating completely.
  2. Place on the baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.
  3. Dip each caramel apple for a second time in the melted milk chocolate, coating completely.
  4. Place on the baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.
  5. Dip each apple a third time in the white chocolate, coating completely.
  6. Place on the baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.
  7. Dip each apple for a final time in the semisweet chocolate, coating completely.
  8. Place on the baking sheet and sprinkle each apple with the pecans.
  9. Refrigerate until firm and serve.
