Ground Meat Stroganoff

1/2 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced*
1/4 cup butter
1 pound ground meat
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (8 ounce) can mushrooms, sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream

Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Stir in meat and brown. Stir in flour, pepper and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in soup. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat through.

Serve over noodles.
