Tater Tot Casserole
1 pound lean ground chuck
Salt and pepper
1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can cream of chicken soup
Frozen Tater Tots
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Brown the meat in a skillet with seasonings and garlic and drain. Transfer
to a medium-size glass casserole. Spoon the soup over the top of meat. Lay frozen
Tater Tots over the entire top of casserole. Cover with foil and bake for approximately
25 minutes at 375 degrees F. Remove foil and top with cheese. Bake 5 to 10 minutes.
You may add chopped green chiles to this, if desired. Also, you can add chopped
onion if you wish. It is also good with either cream of celery or cream of mushroom
soup. The recipe can be doubled easily.
