Great American Cookie Company's Chewy Pecan Cookie recipe

1/2 cup shortening
1 1/3 cups light brown sugar,
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

Roll into 2-inch balls bake at 350 degrees F for about 9 to 11 minutes.

Be careful these things are addictive.
