Grey Moss Inn Olive Twists
Yield: 6 olive twists
Ingredients
- 6 slices good quality sandwich bread
- 4 ounces (1 stick) butter, melted
- 3/4 cup chopped pimento-stuffed salad olives, well drained
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Trim crusts off three sides of each slice of bread. Brush bread slices with melted butter.
- Place about 2 tablespoons chopped olives in the center of each slice of bread.
- Roll each slice with the crust side in and secure with a wooden pick.
- Brush with more melted butter.
- Place twists on baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 5 to 6 minutes, or until bread is crisp and golden brown.
