Zocalo's Incredible Cookies recipe

Cream well:

2 cups butter
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed

Add and mix well:

4 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add:

4 cups flour mixed with 1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder

Add:

4 cups quick cooking oats
2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
4 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Chill 24 hours.

When ready to bake, drop by tablespoonsful onto baking sheet. Bake in preheated 300 degree F oven for about 15 minutes.

Cool before eating.

Makes about 10 dozen.
