Play Dough

3 cups water
1 cups salt
2 tablespoons Crisco
3 cups flour
3 tablespoons alum
Food coloring

Boil water and salt to dissolve and salt. Take from heat and add alum, Crisco and flour. Mix well. Add food coloring or Wonder Colors, if desired. Keep covered in refrigerator.
