Prep Time: 10 minutes
Dry Time: Overnight
Finish Time: 5 minutes
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon glycerin*
McCormick® Assorted Food Colors & Egg Dye OR McCormick® Assorted
NEON! Food Colors & Egg Dye
6 to 8 small paper cups
1. Mix vinegar and baking soda together.
2. Slowly add cornstarch and glycerin.
3. Pour one teaspoon into each cup and then let 'em dry overnight.
4. After they've dried, add food color. The color isn't as deep when it dries, so remember to add a lot of food color. Dip a small paintbrush into some water, and then into your paint. Use good construction paper that will soak up some of the water.
Tip: Allow the painting a long time to dry... put it in a safe place!
* You'll find this ingredient in arts & crafts supply stores and some grocery stores.
