Flour and Water Paste

This paste can be used for papier-m ch projects. This paste is nontoxic, which is good for young children, and it will last for months if you keep it in the refrigerator.

1/2 cup flour
3 cups boiling water
3/4 cup cold water

Slowly pour cold water into flour and stir to make a paste. Pour paste into the boiling water, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes or until the paste is thick and smooth. When cool, pour into a plastic squeeze-top container; label.
