Orange Frosted Nuts
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water
2 cups nuts
1 teaspoon grated orange rind
Combine sugar, water, juice and salt. Boil until a small amount dropped in
cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat; stir in rind, add nuts. Stir
gently until creamy. Turn onto wax paper, and separate nuts.
Makes about 1 pound.
