Cinnamon Pudding Cake recipe

1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Mix all ingredients together and blend well. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Add topping.

Topping
2 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/4 cups water

Combine ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour mixture over the cake batter and bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
