Spirited Cherry Bon Bons
1 bottle maraschino cherries with stems
Bourbon, Brandy, vodka or rum
Semisweet, white chocolate or milk chocolate chips
Drain liquid from cherries. Cover cherries with liquor. Let stand at least
24 hours; drain and pat dry.
Melt chocolate chips. Dip cherries into chocolate and place on wax paper
for 10 to 15 minutes until chocolate is firm. Serve
NOTES: Infused cherries can be stored covered with liquor for up to 1 month.
Try using both red and green cherries. Dip only the bottom halves of some
of the cherries. Use both white and chocolate chips to make beautiful color
combinations.
