1 box light brown sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and lightly flour a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Stir together sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla extract. Combine with flour and pecans, mixing with a spoon. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 35 minutes.
Cool and cut into squares.
