Andes Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Yield: 5 to 6 dozen cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups Andes Baking Chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. Stir in Andes Baking Chips.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased (or parchment paper lined) cookie sheets.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly.
  8. Remove from cookie sheets.
