Cranberry Drops

Yield: about 11 dozen

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 1/2 cups coarsely chopped cranberries

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.
  2. Cream butter and sugars together.
  3. Beat in milk, orange juice and egg.
  4. Measure flour by dipping measuring cup.
  5. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
  6. Blend well with sugar mixture.
  7. Stir in chopped nuts and cranberries.
  8. Drop dough by teaspoonsful onto cookie sheets.
  9. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
