Sour Cream Fruit-Nut Softies
Yield: about 6 dozen (2 1/2 inch) cookies
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 1 (6 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a cookie sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, nutmeg and salt; set aside.
- In large bowl, combine butter and sugar; beat until creamy.
- Beat in eggs.
- Gradually add flour mixture alternately with sour cream.
- Stir in chocolate chips, raisins and nuts.
- Drop by tablespoonsful onto prepared cookie sheet, and bake for about 10 minutes.
