Pineapple Barbecue Meatballs
Pineapple Barbecue Meatballs with a sweet and smoky taste. These meatballs may be served as appetizers or served over rice as an entree.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces frozen meatballs (or homemade meatballs)
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbecue sauce, any flavor
- 1 can pineapple chunks
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Pineapple juice from the can
- Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Pour the barbecue sauce and pineapple chunks over the meatballs.
- Add the garlic powder, brown sugar and pineapple juice. Stir to combine well.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours or on LOW for 4 hours.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions for garnish before serving, if desired.
