1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
1 cup cooked rice
12 cabbage leaves
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Combine egg, milk, onions, salt, ground beef or ground turkey and cooked rice.
Form a ball of the mixture and lay in the center of a cabbage leaf.. Wrap up
the cabbage leaf. Hold together with 2 visible wooden picks. Lay the cabbage
bundles in a crock pot. Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice and Worcestershire
sauce. Pour over the bundles. Cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours.
