3 to 4 pounds chicken pieces
1/4 pound butter
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups orange juice
1 cup raisins
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon flour
Salt and pepper, to taste
Heat butter in a large skillet, and brown chicken. Remove chicken to crock
pot as it browns.
Combine all other ingredients, except flour, in skillet. Mix well and pour
over chicken. Cover crock pot, turn on LOW and cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until
chicken is tender.
Remove one cup of sauce from the pot and combine with flour, mixing well.
Return sauce flour mixture to the pot. Turn crock pot on HIGH, and cook an additional
30 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
