Eggshell candles are a nice touch on your Easter table.
You will need raw eggs, wax crystals (can be purchased anyplace where candle making supplies are sold), birthday candles and eggcups.
Empty contents of egg as described above for confetti eggs. Rinse the egg out carefully and then, using cuticle scissors, trim the opening out about 1/4 inch more. If you want your candleholders to be dyed, do so after eggs are emptied. Fill the finished shell with wax crystals about 1/4 inch below the edge of the shell and insert a birthday candle for the wick. Place in egg cup. When the candle is lit it will burn down and melt the crystals.
