Gary teaches classes and gives
lectures on growth and care of various indoor
and outdoor plants, blooming or ornamental.
He is also a master judge and teacher. Gary
earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree
in Horticulture from Michigan State University
and worked in research there. He has served
as show chairman and president on all California
state levels of the African Violet Society.
