Lacquer-Finished Furniture Cleaner and Preserver

3/4 cup water
2 tea bags

Bring water to a rolling boil. Add tea bags. Put tight lid on and remove from heat. Shake pan until bags are well soaked. Leave lid on pan until the tea is cold. Remove waxes and oils from lacquered pieces. Dry thoroughly. Dip a terry rag into cold tea. Apply to furniture briskly. DO NOT WIPE OFF. The tannic acid returns the lacquer to its original gloss. NEVER wax lacquered pieces.
