Rustproofing

1/4 cup lanolin
1 cup petroleum jelly

Combine ingredients in the top of a double boiler, and warm over low heat until the mixture melts and blends completely. Remove from heat and pour into a clean jar, letting the mixture cool partially.

Use the mixture while it is still warm. Do not wipe the mixture off. Let the mixture dry on the object.

Leftover rustproofing can be sealed tightly and stored. To re-use, just warm up.
