Frosted Meat Loaf recipe

2 pounds ground chuck
1/2 cup French dressing
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cups hot mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
Paprika
1/2 cup Miracle Whip

Combine meat, French dressing, crumbs, onion, the 2 eggs, salt and pepper. Shape in oval loaf in shallow dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

Remove from oven and place on baking sheet or heatproof platter.

Combine potatoes, the beaten egg and Miracle Whip. Frost loaf. Sprinkle with paprika. Broil until lightly browned.
