Sweet Lemon Spareribs

Ingredients

  • 6 pounds pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces
  • 1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 3/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)

Instructions

  1. Place spareribs in Dutch oven with enough water to cover the ribs; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover ribs and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
  2. Remove ribs to a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  3. Stir lemonade concentrate and barbecue sauce together. Pour over ribs; cover and refrigerate for about 8 hours.
  4. Place ribs bone side down in a shallow baking dish and bake at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes, basting often with barbecue sauce mixture.
