Doves in Orange Sauce

12 doves, cleaned and rinsed
4 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups orange juice

Brown doves in butter in heavy skillet. Add salt and orange juice. Cover tightly. Bake at 325 degrees F for about 1 1/2 hours.

Serves 6 to 8.
