Cool and Creamy Custard
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vanilla flavored cajeta
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups cream or crema media, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- Fresh strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- Spread cajeta over base of Mini-Baker using Skinny Scraper; set aside.
- In Classic Batter Bowl, whisk together cream cheese, condensed milk, 1/2 cup crema and vanilla extract using Stainless Steel Whisk. Add eggs, one at a time, whisking vigorously after each addition. Gently pour mixture into baker.
- Microwave on MEDIUM for 10 to 12 minutes or until Utility Knife inserted in center is clean when removed. Let stand in microwave 5 minutes.
- Transfer baker to Stackable Cooling Rack. Gently loosen edges of custard from baker using Small Spreader. Carefully invert onto Simple Additions(TM) Medium Square.
- Make strawberry fans using Egg Slicer Plus(R).
- Serve custard using Slice 'N Serve(R). Drizzle each serving with 2 tablespoons of cream; garnish with a strawberry fan.
Yield: 12 servings
Notes
This recipe can only be made in a microwave that has a turntable.
