Chris's Garlic Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo recipe

This is a tried and true recipe.

1/2 (16 ounce) package linguine
1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli florets
1 container Dijorno Alfredo sauce
3/4 cup milk
About 1/2 to 3/4 cup freshly grated Asiago cheese
5 boneless skinless chicken tenders
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 teaspoon fresh crushed garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown tenders; cool and cut in half. Keep warm separately.

Cook the linguine and broccoli together until crisp tender; drain.

Mix sauce, milk, mushrooms, garlic and cut tenders. Add back to skillet and stir well. Add cheese, chicken mixture, linguine mixture and stir well. Let simmer for about 20 minutes.

Serves 4.
