Pineapple Chess Pie
If you like traditional chess pie, you will love this pineapple version!
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In medium bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
- Beat in sugar, butter, vanilla extract and salt until well blended.
- Stir in pineapple.
- Pour mixture into the pie shell.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until lightly browned and set.
