Pineapple Chess Pie

If you like traditional chess pie, you will love this pineapple version!

Pineapple Chess Pie recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In medium bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  3. Beat in sugar, butter, vanilla extract and salt until well blended.
  4. Stir in pineapple.
  5. Pour mixture into the pie shell.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until lightly browned and set.
