Candy Apple Pie

3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup butter

Mix together, press into bottom of 9-inch pie pan. bake for 16 minutes in preheated 375 F oven.

5 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons butter

Put into saucepan, mix, cook 10-15 minutes until well blended, pour into crust.

In bowl:
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix well and put on apple mixture. Bake 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

Topping:
3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/4 cup chopped pecans
